Burntide Complaints, BBB and Reddit Threads: How to Read Them
Before you order, you probably search for complaints, BBB pages, Reddit threads and so-called exposed reviews. This site holds none of those pages. It holds the distributor's own record: 4.7 out of 5 from 986 written reviews, with the critical ones shown. Here is how to weigh that against what you find elsewhere.

If you have read the complaints and still want a look at the facts, the order link lists the packs and the guarantee before you pay.

- 13 in 100 reviewers gave three stars or fewer. The record shows them.
- Main complaint: a slow start. A number of reviewers wanted more in the first week.
- Only three-star reviewer: stopped after two jars and had called the order desk first.
- Outside pages: this site holds no BBB, Trustpilot, Consumer Reports or Reddit data.
- Reviews are summaries. Three sentences are shared between eight named reviewers.
- No measurements. No reviewer in the record reports one.

Why do you look for complaints first?
Most careful buyers search for the bad news before they read the good news. That is smart. A complaint tells you where a product or a seller lets people down.
The trouble is that the search results for words like complaints, BBB, Trustpilot or exposed are a mixed bag. Some are real customer threads. Some are written by sellers. Some are clickbait that has never seen the jar. So the first job is not to find complaints. The first job is to know what each kind of page can and cannot tell you.
This page does that for Burntide. It starts with what is published on this site, then covers each kind of outside page you are likely to meet.
What does the published review record say?
The distributor publishes an average of 4.7 out of 5 from 986 written reviews across 7,197 orders. It also publishes the spread: 66 per cent gave five stars, 21 per cent four, 8 per cent three, 3 per cent two and 2 per cent one. If you add the top two, 87 per cent gave four or five stars. The rest, 13 per cent, gave three or fewer.
The recurring praise is a daily gummy that is easy to keep up, and a 60-day window. The recurring criticism is a slow start. A number of reviewers wanted more in the first week.
| Reviewer | Stars | Pack | Written | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chris H., 48 | 3 | 3 jars | day 38 | Wanted a faster change, called the order desk, stopped at two jars |
| Greg S., 63 | 4 | 3 jars | day 40 | Fair at a month, but week one felt thin |
| Leon L., 44 | 4 | 3 jars | day 52 | Fair at a month, but week one felt thin |
That table shows the three least happy reviewers in the roster. Notice what the complaints are about. They are about speed. Nobody in the published record complains that the jar was late, short or broken.
What are the limits of that record?
Be fair to the record and to yourself. It has real limits.
- The distributor supplies only three sentences of review text for eight named reviewers. Five share one sentence, two share a second and one has a third. They are summaries and not transcripts.
- Roughly one buyer in seven left a written review. The people who quietly stop are the least likely to write.
- There is no control group. The record cannot separate the gummy from food, sleep and activity.
- No reviewer reports a measurement of any kind.
So a high score tells you the routine was easy to keep. It does not tell you the blend caused a change. The FTC guide on how to evaluate online reviews is a neutral place to learn the same habit of checking what a review can show.
How should you treat BBB, Trustpilot and Consumer Reports pages?
This site holds no data from BBB, Trustpilot or Consumer Reports. No rating, count or complaint from those sources is published here, so none is quoted. That is on purpose.
When you look them up yourself, do five quick things.
- Check which company the page is about. Burntide is sold through more than one stocking partner, and each has its own desk and returns address.
- Check the date. A complaint about a different label revision may not match the jar you would receive.
- Look for specifics: a pack, a day count, a step in the refund. Vague anger is hard to weigh.
- Count how many complaints are about the product and how many are about the order desk.
- Look for a reply from the seller. A named desk that answers is a good sign.
A star score alone can fool you. Read the number under the number, as our post on reading a star rating explains.
What about Reddit threads and exposed reviews?
A Reddit thread can be honest and useful. It can also be a seller posing as a buyer. The test is simple. Does the poster name a pack and a day count? In the record on this site, seven of the eight named reviewers wrote between day 38 and day 58, and one wrote at day 14. That is the kind of detail to look for.
Pages with the word exposed in the title are a warning sign on both sides. Some promise a scandal and deliver nothing. Others promise a miracle. Check whether the page quotes the label or only an adjective. If it cannot print the lot code, the serving or the 525 mg figure, it has probably not seen the jar.
An honest review of this product would have to say the same things the record does. The blend split is not published, no trial of the finished gummy exists, and the usual wait is 3 to 6 weeks.
What are the label, price and guarantee facts to hold a thread against?
| Check | Published fact |
|---|---|
| Serving | One gummy a day, 30 minutes before a morning or afternoon meal |
| Blend | 525 mg total, split not published |
| Usual wait | 3 to 6 weeks, as reported by the distributor |
| Most common pack | 3 bottles |
| Guarantee | 60 days counted from purchase; the buyer covers return postage |
| Refund timing | 3 to 5 business days after the return is credited, then 5 to 10 days on the card |
| Price | Not published here, shown on the checkout page |
If a thread claims a different serving, a different guarantee or a hidden fee, ask for the source and compare with this list.
What should you do if you have a complaint of your own?
Phone the order desk, +1 (877) 257-0825, with your order ID ready. That desk can see orders, track parcels and start refunds. The website email, [email protected], cannot see orders at all, so it is the wrong door for a refund.
In the published record, the only three-star reviewer called the desk before he stopped. One line attributed to a named buyer reads Desk answered. Neither fact says anything about the gummy. Both say something about how the phone is handled.

Our view
Complaints are useful when you read them for facts. The facts here are mild: a slow start, a stop after two jars, and an order desk that picked up the phone. That is a record that argues for patience and against high hopes in week one.
Our advice is to hold every thread against the label facts above, to be wary of pages that cannot show the jar, and to call a doctor before starting if you take medicine. If you order, use the link so your purchase has an order record.

Read the threads, then read the label.
The checkout page shows pack prices and the 60-day guarantee before you pay, so you can weigh them against what you have read.
